About Siquijor

Compared to other islands in the Philippines, Siquijor is a relatively small island. But, by no means is it so small that you can walk to all the tourist spots. Sure, if you stay in a Siquijor beach resort in the main tourist town San Juan, Tubod beach will be right on the doorstep and you could walk to a few places like Paliton beach for sunset and Lugnason Falls.

However, it doesn’t matter where you stay on Siquijor, you’re always going to need some way of getting yourself to certain tourist spots.

Scooters/with driver

The best way to move around is with your own scooter. There are many rental places in San Jose or you could ask at the resort or hotel when you arrive in Siquijor. Scooter rentals start from around ₱300 (€5) a day.

If you want to enjoy the fun of exploring a tropical island on 2 wheels but you’re not comfortable riding your own scooter, then why not rent a scooter with driver. Sure, this will cost around ₱1000 for the day but you won’t be missing out on the fun.
