Phuket

Phuket gets a lot of mixed reviews, but I think it depends on where you stay. Some parts are super touristy, but there are also quieter corners with amazing beaches and local vibes. It’s also a great base for island hopping—I took some incredible boat trips from here to nearby spots like the Phi Phi Islands.
