The S1 shuttle bus route does not pass through Khaosan road. Instead the nearest stop is about a 10 minute walk away.

Airport Rail link + Tuk-Tuk
Although Bangkok’s airport rail link does not go to Khaosan road, it can be a relatively fast and economical way to reach Bangkok City Centre. You can take the rail link directly from Bangkok airport to Phaya Thai Station (the last stop on the line).

Next take a taxi. Or a tuk-tuk – welcome to Thailand!
The last stop is still around 5km from Khaosan road. From here you can either take a taxi or tuk-tuk. Under normal traffic conditions, a taxi will cost around 60THB ($1.50): if the taxi driver gives you a fixed price, ask him to use the meter, it’s always cheaper this way.
A tuk-tuk driver will probably ask for double or even more. Tuk-Tuks don’t have meters.

KHAOSAN ROAD
Khaosan road is a melting pot famous with tourists visiting Bangkok and wanting to know why this relatively short road (400m) is famous.
